A note to our customers:

As you may be aware, the EURO has been climbing against the Dollar in value. What this means to you is that products made in Germany will most likely cost more tomorrow than they cost today. Our suppliers have products from Germany on their shelves that they bought when the Dollar was higher, and TODAY you can buy a lot of these German goods at cheaper prices than you can TOMORROW.

To give you an idea of what I am referring to, in 2002 when we imported German merchandise we paid $0.86 on the EURO. Today our cost is around $1.45 for the EURO. That is almost a 75% increase in the cost of German products in America over the last 6 years. This applies to every merchant that sells German made products . All European products are likely to cost more if the Dollar continues to decline than they do today. That means when our suppliers reorder they may have to pay more for German consumer products and so will their merchants. And so will you. So buying German products in USA that are already sitting in US warehouses, paid for with a stronger Dollar is a wise move on your part, if you act now.

So how can you save money today? Easy. If you want to stock up on those German items that fill your pantry, a product from Germany that you keep in the cupboard or vanity, NOW is a good time to buy them in quantity. And by that I mean buying multiple items of the same products that you use over and over again. So instead of just buying one bottle of Badedas, as an example, you buy two or three bottles to keep on hand. Your overall costs will be lower by doing this, and you will save time and money in the long run. That's something we all want, and by doing that with several products you lock in these savings.

We have several customers who buy German products online by the case, and for them it makes perfect sense. They know they love the products of Germany, they know they will be using the product for a long time, and they want the savings that come with purchasing in small quantities. The savings on shipping alone make this a wise move. Perhaps this strategy will make sense for you when you purchase your products, as well. Thanks for reading this, and remember to keep an eye open for a rising Euro when you shop for a product of Germany. Afterall, German products in US warehouses have already been paid for so a window of opportunity to save money is there for a brief time if the Euro suddenly climbs against the Dollar as it has in the past.
